It’s Her Wedding Today!

The most awaited day of her life has arrived.
She’s all set up to be dressed as a bride.
With everyone’s eyes set on her new bridal suit.
Everyone’s whispering isn’t she looking cute?
Lights start glowing as she makes her way.
Everyone’s watching her because it’s her wedding today.

The groom chosen by her being better than the best.
Together they look superb and different from the rest.
As they walk together as newly wed husband and wife.
She’s ready to enjoy all the moments stored in her life.
She’s all charged up and feeling happy and gay.
It’s visible on her face because it’s her wedding today.

But while everyone’s busy in celebrating her occassion.
My heart forces from her to keep some reservation.
Earlier she was my life who stayed in my heart.
But destiny had some other plans and we fell apart.
All I can do right now for her is to pray.
I do so for her because it’s her wedding today.

It’s true that it is painful but then too I lie.
As her happiness is my only priority that I cannot deny.
As her rituals get over and she is declared his wife.
I can only wish her a happy and wonderful life.
It’s over by now and I am happy in my own way.
And why shouldn’t I be?
Afterall, it’s her wedding today!

The Happiest Day Of My Life

It’s the morning of my wedding and as I daydream, yet in bed
Thoughts of you and our new life together are all that fill my head
I waited so long for the time that you would place this band upon my finger
And now the path that brought us here is in what my mind lingers
We fell in love so gradually, we started out as simply friends,
And now I’m filled with wonder that you’ll be all mine when this day ends
I run my fingers lovingly down the dress it took me so long to find,
I wanted to be beautiful on this day I would become your bride.
My mother helps me now adjust the veil upon my head
And standing right close by with tears is my best girlfriend
Everyone has said we’re blessed because they know the love we’ve found
We’ve realized we’re lucky that love so strong even once has come around
We are at the church at last, I’ll soon be walking down the aisle
And as daddy reaches for my arm he offers me a gentle smile…
“You’ll always be my little girl, and he’s a lucky man”
There’s a certain sadness in his eyes but I understand.
Then I see you waiting for me there and the distance seems so far
It seems to take forever to get to where you are
I’ve waited my whole life for you, this moment..don’t you see
That I want more to be only yours than I ever wanted to be free
Then the priest begins to speak and as I say those vows to you,
A tear trails slowly down my cheek at the love I see in your eyes, so true.
I never will forget this day and the blissful night that we’ll share after
Now we’ll continue on through life, this beginning a new chapter.

Forever Yours

My love, let me shower you with roses here on our wedding day. Let me hear your sweet words saying that I’m forever yours and you mine. Let our love shine as that of a fairy tale story so true and heart warming. May all who see our love this very day bring tears of joy and happiness as we both celebrate our reunion day together. May our wedding day be forever written in our hearts as we look into each others eyes and say “I Do”. For this is the moment we have been waiting for a very long time. So my darling, my heart, my love and my princess know this day that I have committed myself to be forever yours for as long as I live. Love is when you really care
When you can’t help but stare
And wonder why you’re by his side
Letting all your feelings hide

She’s in her room,
scared to death.
She stands up,
just to fix her dress.

Everyone’s waiting,
it’s time to go.
She leaves the room,
she knows for sure.

They say their vows,
and “I do.”
they finnally are,
not one, but two.

She married the man,
