But someone took the time until each piece was found.

He hunted and waited till the timing was right.
Got down on one knee and asked for a wife.

Your love for each other is so plain to see.
Together forever, you’re both meant to be.

Now a light shines out from deep within.
Knowing your life will be spent with your best friend.

Your wedding day is here and you’re surrounded by love.
As God looks over you from the heavens above.

The vows have been said, you’re now husband and wife.
With the rings on your hand, you begin your new life!

I wrote this for a good friend of mine on her wedding day!

Our Endless Moment

My folded hands were trembling, as I walked down the isle.
For all the people gathered here, i mangaged a week smile.
Flowers were everywhere and the organ played its tune.
A happy thought rang in my mind, I’d always be with you soon.
We would spend all out time together, we would never have to part.
And then i stood beside you and felt the beat of my heavy heart.
Your face was pale, your hands were cold in mine.
I whispered somthing to you about everything being fine.
I turned to you and kissed your cheek as the minister came near.
He said the words that are always said so that everyone could here.
I told you that I loved you, what else could I say?
And then they closed the casket and carried you away!

Read my lips as they say I love you
Watch them carefully as they say I do
My vows to you are crystal clear
Because you?re you I love you dear
I?ll say my vows from the heart
Hoping that we never part
They?ll go a little something like this
Then end with an ?I Do? and a little kiss
I?ll start by saying ?I Julia?
Then finish it off with ?I take you Matt?
The vows for you will then begin
Then tears will fall until the end

Goodbye

Goodbye sister your leaving now,
i dont know why and i dont know how.
i have pulled together all my pride to say,
i will miss your face in every way.

i will miss the way you yelled in my face,
when you said the clothes i wore were a discrace.
you shouted when i wanted to borrow your stuff,
the anwers i gave were never enought.

i will miss the days when i ran home in tears,
you would wipe them away with all of my fears.
you helped me with work and did my hair,
you wernt perfect but i didnt care.

but now your leaving and changing your name,
but the feelings for you will remain the same.
i will never forget you until my end,

Wedding Day

The morning began with the sun shining bright
I was not able to get a lot of sleep the previous night

I knew this was going to be one of the biggest days of my life
For after today my best friend was going to be my wife

I have been waiting a long time for this day
Now that it is here I keep thinking “No Way?!”

I have not been so excited about something before
But the nervousness that I feel is also hard to ignore

I took some extra time trying to make myself look good
For there was no doubt in my mind that my bride sure would

The day moved along very fast
The time had finally come… at last

The doors opened and my beautiful bride to be, I finally saw
If good looks were a crime then she definitely was breaking the law

I felt so proud as she walked down that aisle
It seemed like it took forever as though she was walking a mile

As she drew near to me
Her eyes and her face I could finally see

Her eyes filled with tears, compassion and love
Her face made so perfect and beautiful from our maker up above

The pastor gave a message and we said our vows
It was time for the kiss… I was hoping to get a few “wows!”

I walked down the aisle with my wife by my side
The sense of relief and happiness I felt I could not hide

There was a reception and dance that followed the wedding
The hall was decorated beautifully and made for a great setting

As the night was drawing to a close
We headed of to a place where no one knows

We got to the motel that we had reserved for that night
We got in the room and turned on the light

It was a big room with a couch and a whirlpool inside
The big bed was around the corner trying to hide

Don’t worry we found it as we looked around the bend
I am sorry folks but this is the place where my story has to end

Married life is awesome!
